Do you ever wander at the sky? At the shades of color, the rays of light? Do you ever look at a sunset and think "wow."? Ever find yourself speechless to the beauty that surrounds you? Sunsets have always captivated me. I always wandered at their beauty and uniqueness. I have never seen two sunsets look the same; each is distinct in its colors, rays, clouds, and so forth. The placing of each ray, of each cloud is intentional. There is nothing random or accidental. It was painted in that way to show the imagination and creativity of its Creator. He had a purpose in that sunset. In choosing those colors. In placing the sun-rays where He did. Our God is not one of 'randomness' or 'un-intentionality'. Just as the sunsets have a purpose and meaning, so does every creation of God's. From the smallest living thing on earth, to the splendor of humanity. Are not we above the other earthly creations' of God? "God [said]: rule over... all living creatures... upon the earth," Gen. 1:28. If sunsets hold such beauty that we stand in awe, unable to capture their charm, how much more superb are we. How much more beauty does mankind hold!

I heard it said a million times: we are called to love as Christ loves. We are called to treat others as our brothers and sisters in Christ. When we meet a stranger on the road, run into an old acquaintance, or encounter an enemy or someone who is no longer our friend, we must treat them all with the respect and love Christ gives them. When we replace our ideas with Christ's--we look at everyone as our sibling in Christ--we can love more freely and care more wholeheartedly. If a stranger was created with more purpose and meaning than the glorious sunset, how much more are we to marvel at the intentionality and creativity of our God in His creation of man.
And so, remember: You are more than the sunsets we stop to snap photos of, the sunsets we boast about, and the sunsets we admire each day. When we look through the eyes of Christ, we find beauty in all around us. [For] God saw all the things that He had made, and they were very good. Gen. 1:31
